Student Recitals and Concerts

Solo Recitals:
  • At 1:10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in various locations.

Advanced Program Performances:
  • All students accepted into the Advanced program are expected to perform on a recital.
  • Students will be assigned to either one of the afternoon concerts on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, or to the Advanced Program Recital on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Concert Dress:
  • Concert dress is left to the discretion of the parent.
  • Many students like to wear their CSI t-shirt for the orchestra and instrumental concerts.
  • Solid-colored slacks/pants, button-up/polo shirts, dressy tops, nice dresses/skirts, dress shoes, loafers, flats, nice sandals are all appropriate for solo and chamber recital wear.

Thursday, July 6
  • 1:00 p.m. Orchestra Concert (Wear your institute T-shirt!)
  • 6:00 p.m. Fiddle Jam
  • 7:00 p.m. Advanced Program Recital

Friday, July 7
  • 8:30 a.m. Cello Concert rehearsal
  • 1:00 p.m. Chamber Music Ensembles Concert
  • 4:30 p.m. Piano Solo Recital 
  • 6:00 p.m. Cello Concert
  • 7:30 p.m. Viola and Violin Concert


These concerts celebrate the accomplishments of the students at the end of the week. Family and friends are encouraged to attend these exciting finale performances.
